I purchased some flights online with United...
I got an email saying:
Your ticket(s) have been issued as an E-Ticket
Your e-ticket was issued
•You will receive a confirmation email in a few minutes
•To check in for your flight use EasyCheck-inOnline
Available 1-24 hours before domestic flights and 2-24 hours before international flights

Underneath that is my itinerary
..I haven't received any other email except a confirmation on the purchase of my travel insurance.
So where exactly are my tickets? Is it just my itinerary that I print out? Or do I get something to print out after I use the "Easy Check In Online" 24 hours before the flight??

The "E" in "E-Ticket" stands for "electronic." No actual physical ticket is issued -- the record of your reservation is stored electonically, and the confirmation you received is proof of that record.

When you check in (either online through the easy check-in or at the airport) you'll receive your boarding passes, based on the airline accessing that electronic record.

Academia, your e-ticket will have a scan bar, your itinerary, and a six-digit alpha-numeric code. It should also have "Conditions of Contract" below that. If you did not get this, give United reservations a call and tell the agent that you did not get it and it will be re-sent to you. It does not look like a ticket, just a page of data.

Print out all of the emails to bring to the airport with you.

Call the airline ahead of time in case I am wrong ...but in the past when i have traveled... you just bring your drivers license or ID to the counter when you check in and all your info is in the system.
