?

Here is my problem. I bought a really good fare on Expedia from Frankfurt, Germany to Seattle, WA for the 2nd of September. The same flight is now over a $100 more than a week ago than when I purchased it. However, I would like to go home earlier than the 2nd but still not pay more (or not much more) to do so. Is there a web site or somewhere that one can swap tickets with another person? Can you do that through the airline? I wouldn't be willing to pay more than say $150 to do that. I tried contact Expedia but it won't work on my phone here in Germany. Please help =(

Air Tickets are Nontransferable. That is NO-way you can endorse it to someone else!

Can you do that through the airline?

The airline has your reservation. Go to the web-site and use your PNR or locator (usually a 5/6 letters and number code) to ask for those changes costs. For sure you will have some fees involved.

Go to the airline DIRECT. By web-site or local (Germany) telephone number.

BUT please do asap!

If you cannot reach the 800 number, you could try calling 1-404-728-8787. My guess is that there will probably be no cheap way to do what you want. I think you will have to pay a change fee (probably $100) plus whatever fare increase there is for the flight you want.

You should probably be prepared to spend a lot of time on the phone to accomplish anything. Last year I had a ticket for a trip using two airlines through Expedia, and one of them changed their schedule. Getting things rescheduled (at no cost to me) so that I could make all my connections took about two hours on the phone.

Unfortunately, tickets are non-transferable. I experience this exact same scenario just a month ago and ironically, I was flying from the US to Frankfurt:)....I wanted to come home a bit earlier than the date of my ticket..(purchased from Orbitz)....I was told by the airline (Northwest airlines) it would be $250 dollars to come home earlier, but I had to stay at least one Saturday. I ended up just staying the whole time in Frankfurt which I have to say your city ROCKS!!!! I had a blast:) Anyway, I would just contact your airline via email to inquire about an earlier flight. You are unfortunately going to have to pay quite a bit to change it or else just stay the whole duration in Seattle you had originally planned on. Either way, I do hope you have a great time in the US. Seattle is an awesome city. I certainly enjoyed my stay in your city and plan on returning someday!!!!
