joking really my real question is i was about to board a plane and i noticed which seemed to look like a seam on the wing not quite connected and as i sat in my seat i wanted to say something to someone but i sat there and i thought about the unessasary **** this may have caused if it was nothing i was so scared to say something .

you should have had a word with the hostess in private so as to reassure yourself. sometimes you just want to go with the flow and not stick out from the crowd.. but it's good if your observation would have caused that crowd to survive, had it been something serious.

Odds are it wasn't what you thought. ;-)



However, if something doesn't look/feel right one should privately speak to one of the crew.



Not just mechanical but passenger or even items being loaded. At worse you will give the crew a good chuckle (after you leave) at best you might prevent a disaster.



Maintenance is performed by humans as is security, there is always room for human error.
