You can always change, if they will charge you for it depends on the type of ticket. If it's a refundable ticket you should be able to change it without any cost (unless the ticket is more expensive at the time you change it in which case they may charge you the difference), if it's non-refundable then they will charge you for it. You can buy refundable tickets for all classes (first, business, and economy), they are typically expensive, non-refundable tickets are mostly economy but I've seen it for business class as well, don't know about first.

With the 10 month return you may not be able to get non-refundable (cheaper) tickets.

If you change a non-refundable ticket they charge you a fee (check the airline) and the price difference of your ticket and the price of the ticket on the day you change it (if that is higher).

Best way to find out is to call the airline, ask your travel agent, or online you can check the rules for the ticket you buy (even before buying), look for a link that says rules.

It depends on several things like:

1. What class of service - 1st & business class can be changed or refunded, so can some senior citizen fares.

2. Depends on what airline, as some airlines sell their tickets as 2 one ways coming & going.

3. Also, where you bought it; from the airline or a consolidator which has different rules.

4. You need to know the time restriction on it; an airline agent can tell you by the class of service. Some classes are for 3, 6, 9 or 1 year duration.

5. You might be able to change it, depending on some of the things mentioned about. There will be anywhere from a $100 - $250 penalty fee.

It relies upon at this style of fee tag which you have. i'm interpreting in London maximum extraordinary now and that i replaced my fee tag for a later return. maximum airways do enable you regulate the fee tag although, however the costs selection. I had to pay purely $50 yet my pal had to pay $2 hundred. in case you do ensure to purchase a around holiday fee tag and then ensure to alter the date, only call the airline. Do it asap because of the fact seats fill up right away and there are purely a undeniable style of tickets available for the fee you could have paid.

Unless it says otherwise, you can, but may have to pay a fee and the amount is up to the airline. I came back early from Italy and it cost me extra.
