I heard on the computer for example, it says San Francisco to London is 11 hours flight non stop. But I personally took a flight non stop from San francisco to London and I have plans on going back to London, anyways my previous SF to london flight took 9 and a half hours! That is definitely not what the computer says. I am speaking about going to London (not returning.) I saw on the computer nyc to london is 7 hours? Is it really true? I mean did anyone here ever take a flight from new york to london straight and how long was it? I mean it takes 5 hours to go from San Francisco to London, so stopping in NYC and going for another 7 hours doesn't sound right to me. I want to stop next in NYC because I can't handle long and stressful non stop flights especially San Francisco. Please let me know honestly thank you

It is about 7.5 hours from New York to London. Actual flight time might be a little less, because the scheduled time is from gate to gate.

From San Francisco to London is about 11 hours. The reason for the discrepancy is flight paths - the plane from SF doesn't actually fly over NY on its way to London; instead, it takes a more northerly route.

Can you tell time?

Are you counting hours in the sky or what the clock says when you land?

How nice what your OTHER flight took. Take it again if you want.

Where you looking on cheap discount, fly for cheap, no frills ,just get me there, save money website?

The premium faster flights COST MORE.

From NYC to London where did you expect to change flights?

Non stop about 6 hours 45 minutes in the air.

WANT cheap then you go on route that requires you to go on planes that have more space and fly to different places along the way.It takes longer to get there.

You pay extra for faster DIRECT NON STOP flights.

About 7 hours and 30 minutes. It does not take 5 hours from San Francisco to London. I don't recommend stopping in NYC because it will add to your total travel time.

If you fly out of JFK and land at Heathrow, it averages out to be 7-8 hours.
