No, a library card and student ID are not considered valid ID. You need government-issued photo ID, such as a passport, state ID card, or driver's license. The state ID is not hard to get.

If you do not have proper ID to fly, then you *may* still be allowed to fly if they can verify your identity. In that case, you should show up extra early with whatever ID you do have. You will have to go through additional screening. There is no guarantee that you will be able to fly though, so it's best to have proper ID to be safe.

I don't think you'll be able to fly. You can contact the Consular Affairs department of the country you are visiting (if it is an international flight) and ask for information about this, but the United States Gov't requires you to have a passport to board and that is pretty much the case all over the world.

It was also be a good idea to report the passport lost and get a new one as fast as possible, even if it is a temporary one.

The answer is no. You won't be able to lift off the ground with a library card, nor with a student card. If you do not have government ID, you won't go anywhere. Next time, please get your information correct before deciding to go somewhere. You could get a passport within 3-5 days if in an emergency.

Bring the library card, student ID, and a few other cards with your name with/without photo (ex. bank or credit card) if available along. It will all help. Get to the airport a bit earlier than normal so as to give the officer checking the travel documents more time to verify your credentials.

You already knew the answer before you posted the question, you could have saved time, by getting a state issued ID.

If you are a minor, you do not need identification.

If you are an adult, state issued id or a passport is necessary.

No, it's not.

Get a bonafide government issues id.

If you don't believe me, go to the airport and ask them.

It is not acceptable ID.

If you are under 18 then you do not need ID. Otherwise you need to get one.

If you are traveling out of the country you HAVE to have a passport
