ok so im preparing to fly to oregon on wednesday. im stopping in atlanta and then portland before i reach my destination. the paper with my confirmation shows the times that ill be flying and when im leaving and going to the next stop. but going to OR from FL the time changes are important. pacific time is 3 hours behind eastern time and it isnt clear on the information if the time changes for each stop are based on eastern time and if i need to recalculate times mentally for each place. anybody have this problem and can help it would be helpful thanks?

All the time shown on an itinerary are local time at the airport you're boarding or arriving at. Just follow the local clock wherever you are, it's easy to tell just by looking at all the tv monitors hoisted around airports. You should adjust your watch when you fly over to a different time zone, the pilot always announce the local time of the airport you're landing at shortly before touching ground. When it shows say 3 pm for your Atlanta flight, it means 3 pm Atlanta time, NOT OR time any more.

Times shown on tickets and schedules are LOCAL times, so the time-zone calculation is already done for you.

One thing I find handy is that when I board a flight I go ahead and set my wristwatch to the time at my destination -- that may require some mental calculations.

everything is in local time.

so if you leave atlanta at 3pm thats in eastern standard time (it would be 12pm noon in portland) and say you were to arrive in portland at 5pm thats pacific standard time. (it would be 8pm in atlanta when you land).

this was just an example.

No recalculation required. Departure times are local times at the place you're leaving. Arrival times are local time at the place you're arriving.

Israel invitations the rocket assaults because it provides them the excuse to bomb Gaza. in the West financial enterprise they knock down properties and mosques to electrify the Palestinians into action so as that they are able to construct greater settlements, yet in Gaza they are able to't , which you will electrify action there they place self assurance in greater-judicial killings to get the Gazans to respond and then use their firework assaults to justify bombing them.Israel has no purpose to get a peacefull contract till the final Palestinian is in his grave. it could desire to take time although that's a drip drip result that finally could have the needed result. what's needed is a Kosovo sort intervention with UN troops on the floor.

the times given are local times.

i.e. if you're leaving Portland at 4pm you will be leaving at 4pm Pacific time (7pm eastern time)

Your itinerary should say -- Arrival x:xx pm -- and that would be the destination's local time.
