i have an old printer, and a new laptop that i cant get the printer software onto, so i have to save to my thumb drive as a pdf file, plug it into my printer, and print it that way (been doing this forever)

however, im trying to print my southwest boarding pass with a barcode on it and it wont let me save as pdf from the webpage...so if i copy it into paint and save it that way, will the barcode still scan when i go to board the plane?

Remember that you don't have to print your boarding pass. You can just go to the airport to get it. It'll save the hassle and possibly the unreliable paint.

Southwest Airline now offers boarding pass in Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format). If you want to crop out the barcode, you can go with the PDF COPY PASTE software,

I agree with J-Ville boy.

Don't take the chance.

You can check in online (and still get the good boarding group) and then print off the boarding pass at the airport.
