Question:
What's the best way to use my Continental airline miles?

It seems that if I'm going anywhere that's a vacation place, there's never anything available through my Onepass miles. Are there good places to go where I can actually use the miles? I have about 120,000 miles right now. Thanks.

Onepass or any frequent flyer miles are harder and harder to redeem these days. The best thing to do is to plan your trip as far in advance as you can. Award travel flights are limited, you need to book as far in advance as possible. I find that calling the airline's frequent flyer program is the best way to get a flight and that some customer service agents are much more helpful than others. If you get an agent that is not of much help, call back and try again and hopefully you'll get someone who will try their best to book you a flight.

120,000 should buy you somewhere fairly good. I guess it depends on where you were thinking of going, but it usually only take 25000 for RT in the US and 70000 for international. check the reward costs and usually if you sign up for their email alerts, they offer discounted miles to travel to places at certain times of the year.

If you have any miles left over that is not enough to buy a ticket, you can use them for magazines as well. Good luck.

105,000 SaverPass TO Europe in Business Class

same to South (south) America, i.e. Argentina

120,000 SaverPass Business Class to Australia and New Zealand = BEST VALUE ( a USD10.000 to13.000 VALUE!)

Look quite in advance to your desired departure date, you can start 330 days:

see:

CO/Continental is now part of the *A/Star Alliance, thus having lots of partners to fly.

or you can fly and UP-GRADE to Business and/or First class:
