Im biased. I worked for Delta for many years. You can have good and bad experiences on any given airline. To make your trip enjoyable, just know the rules of the airlines. The major airports you will be flying through all have a one hour cut off on check in. Baggage limits on Delta, whether domestic or international are now 50 lb (23kg), down from 70 lb (32kg). Most airlines have reduced their baggage limits as well, so check with whatever airline you choose to fly. Make sure your passport and visa are valid and not expired. Flights board 30 minutes before departure and close 15 minutes before departure, so make sure you allow plenty of time to get to your gate.

Enjoy your flights and have a safe trip.

Try not US airlines, this can be difficult LAX-PIT-JFK, but the intercontinental try Iberia better.

Don't eve think in American Airlines.
