Hi, I am flying from California to Oregon tomorrow on Alaska Airlines. My flight leaves at 10:00 a.m., I booked through Alaska just because they had a good airfare as well as convenience for times. Has anyone on here flown them before? How good are they? Are they safe as well? Hope I will have a good experience. Thanks.

well, almost all US airlines including Alaska Airlines have had at least one fatal accident at some point. That doesn't mean that they are inherently an unsafe airline. If they were deemed unsafe, the FAA would put a stop to that very fast.
On the other hand, you are flying in a machine built from a million parts manufactured by the lowest bidder and assembled and maintained by unhappy union workers...

Alaska is one of the better U.S. airlines. They have won awards by JD Power for excellence in quality and service. You really cannot go wrong with them. Alaska has had an airplane crash before, but that was a long time ago. They are quite safe.

It's a bit late to worry about whether or not you'll be OK! Alaska Airlines would not be allowed to fly if authorities thought there were any problems. You will be perfectly alright.

Like every airline, they had their screw ups. Personally, I think their service is terrible.
However, they tend to be very reliable and will get you where you are going. I fly them a lot through Alaska and they safely get you where you are going when other airlines won't even attempt it. I think their pilots are excellent!

Alaska is a great airline. They fly modern aircraft and hire high time professional pilots. Enjoy your trip!

It's usually a very nice airline to fly; sometimes you get grumpy flight attendants just like any other airline. They have some new planes (remodeled??) flying back/forth LA/OC to SEA... maybe you will get lucky and have them.
