Yes it definitely is. Since its an island u get sea views and if u go towards the central area u get the mountain views. Hot climate to cold climate within 1 day u can get. Ancient ruins to world heritage is there. What else do we need?

Book the observation car of the Colombo - Kandy Intercity train( just 2.5 US Dollars) And gaze upon the green lushness of the country, how quickly the passing bright green paddy fields gives way to mountains and jungles laden with mist.Simply gorgeous.
